Your privacy at Southwind Lake Cabins

This website is a place to learn about our cabins,
our land, and the lake.
We keep things simple here, including how we handle your information.

What we collect

We don't ask for your name, email, or any personal details on this site. If you email us via our contact form, we'll see your email address and whatever you choose to share, and we'll use it only to reply to you.

Like most websites, this one may automatically gather basic, anonymous visit information, such as which pages are viewed, the type of device and browser used, and the general region a visit comes from. We use our website host's built in analytics for this. It helps us understand what's useful to visitors so we can improve the site. It does not tell us who you are.

Cookies

Some of this information is collected using cookies, which are small files stored on your device. You can block or delete cookies anytime in your browser settings, and the site will still work.

Outside services

Parts of this site may connect to other services, embedded maps, or Social Media feeds. These services have their own privacy policies and may collect information when you visit.

Booking through Airbnb

We take reservations through Airbnb. When you book, you share your information directly with them, and their privacy policy and terms apply. We don't collect payment details on this website.

What we never do

We don't sell your information. We don't share it with anyone for advertising.

Children

This site is for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If we change how the site works, we'll update this page and the date above.
